Do You Believe Like Tiger Woods & Trevor Immelman?
Monday 14th April
Hi,
Do You Believe In Yourself Like Tiger Woods & Trevor Immelman?,
Still trying to catch up here after 4 late nights watching the
“Masters” golf this weekend!…Yet again, another disappointing
weekend for our “Young Guns”.
It seems that they all the brits fell away without really believing
that they could catch the leader. When in fact all they needed to
do was steady the ship and make pars.
All but one man who was way behind…who never sank a putt…yet
still kept on trying…eventually managed to drag himself in to
2nd place. - Tiger Woods.
Sorry if you don’t follow golf and are wondering what the hell I’m
talking about but there are several points to take away:
Before Tiger had even struck his first shot on Thursday no one gave
the rest of the field a chance. He was the hottest favorite EVER to
go in to a “Major”.
No one believed that any of the other players had a chance.
But it didn’t stop Trevor Immelman believing he could win.
Then on the final round Tiger was a massive six shots behind with
another 7 players ahead of him. While everyone were losing their
heads Tiger kept on plugging away. Perhaps because he’s won the
tournament before and he knew what it takes…?
Perhaps it was his own never say never attitude.
In the end Trevor Immelman held his nerve on the last and clinched
the “Green Jacket”. In interview after he said this, which is
something we can all learn from.
“I’m living proof that if you work hard and believe in yourself, you
can make it happen”
It takes work & belief to make it in this online world.
“WORK & BELIEF”
Do you believe you can make it? I mean really deep down, do you
absolutely believe you will make it?
Are you prepared to put the work in?
Not easy questions to answer are they?
